Longtime TV Marv Albert, 68, was reported involved in a fight with bodyguards for the rapper 50 Cent during a meeting Thursday night on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Marv Albert appeared Wednesday Jimmy Kimmel Live! When 50 Cent. This meeting could end in only one way: with fisticuffs.

The Marv Albert 50 Cent’s crew fight broke out, both as a rapper and actor was scheduled guests for Kimmel’s late night show on ABC this past Wednesday, November 18, 2009. In what Marv Albert thought was some kind of joke or comedy sketch, he was part of a battle with rapper 50 Cent to do backstage at Jimmy Kimmel show.

Fortunately for Marv, he was not hurt anyone, but was completely shocked and surprised by the chaos. So what went wrong? Apparently when Marv Albert came to the building, he was met with an icy negatively received by 50 Cent’s crew. They could not know the sports television, and thought that he tried to break the 50 interviews. From there they began flying insults that made fists. Even after employees from the Kimmel show Albert identified the 50-team, they were impressed.

According to MTV.com, Albert was quoted as saying: “Did you see that?” I thought they were joking, so I thought that they were not. “The Marv Albert 50 Cent posse fight backstage was actually true.
