Oprah Winfrey’s Ending Her Talk Show video
It is bad news for the television world. Oprah Winfrey told her studio audience on Friday that she would end her show in 2011 after a quarter century in the air, said prayer and careful consideration led her to her decision.

Oprah Winfrey made it official on a live episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show today that she will finish her race today September 9, 2011; 25 years after their first show went live. “I love this show. This show has been my life. And I love the crown to know when it’s time to say goodbye,” she said to the audience.

Winfrey told the audience that she loved “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, as it had been her life and that she knew when it was time to say goodbye. “Twenty-five years feels right in my legs and feel right in my spirit,” she says. She did not know, but the address of her next move, saying only that she hopes people will continue to see the next 18 months to the end of the show in time.

Winfrey talked about being nervous since the program began in 1986, and thanked the audience who had invited her into their homes and lives during the past two decades.
