Although Independence Bowl can tell us something about Georgia
Let’s start with two things.
1) Seven seconds team mined countries in the bowl game than Georgia: Alabama (BCS), Florida (sugar), LSU (Capital single), Mississippi (cotton), Kentucky (Music City).
2) Only 6800 of the Bulldogs’ 12,000-ticket allotment to the Independence Bowl was sold.

So it is safe to assume that most of you are not happy about the fact that the final memory of the 2009 season will be the 28 December 5 time interval evening on ESPN 2nd (Programming note: Independence Bowl follow Premier League football match between Wolves Hampton and Manchester City.)

The Colts and the Independence Bowl

The Aggie should clearly motivating the edge here. Georgia has played in January bowls six times in the last seven years, so they do not get excited by a 7-5 record and a bowl game. On the other hand Agues they only played in three bowl games the last seven years, they will be much more happy to be here

Independence Bowl: Texas A & M (6.6) vs. Georgia (7-5)
The Independence Bowl will pit two programs with much in common, at least in 2009. Also you can score points, Texas A & M (14th nationally in scoring offense) maybe a bit better than Georgia. Can not do much defensively, Georgia smaller sieve-like than the matador defense A & M trots out on most Saturdays. Both also have a bus on the hot seat: Mike Sherman is 10-14 through two season against Texas, Oklahoma and Texas Tech – and Mark Rich, after eight years of relative happiness, has heard the demands dismissal of some of the more vocal members of the Georgia fan base. Unfortunately, to leave the Bulldogs with just one full-time defensive coach help the team prepare for both the game and make the defensive calls.
