Album of the Year Wins Grammy By Taylor Swift
Grammy Award for Album of the Year – night’s highest honor – goes to … Taylor Swift! The 20-year-old country sensation fictional Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and the Dave Matthews Band for the honor, which she takes home her second album, ‘Fearless’.

“Thank you,” Taylor said to be the youngest artist ever to win Album of the Year. “I hope you know how much it means to me and Nathan [Chapman], my producer, and all these musicians that you see on this stage that we will return to Nashville. Our families freaking in the living room, my father and my brother is freaking out in the living room. It is for my father who always said that I could do anything I wanted … And my mother – you are my best friends.

‘Fearless’ was the best selling albums of all genres in 2009, with sales totaling more than five million. Among his biggest hits are “White Horse”, “Love Story”, “Fifteen” and “You Belong With Me”, which was also nominated for Song and Record Of The Year.
Taylor has a total of four Grammy wins Sunday night. Along with Album of the Year, she also won the Grammy for Best Country Album, Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song for ‘White Horse’. She was only beaten by Beyonce, who took home six trophies.
