Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan spent a very uncomfortable 11 minutes being questioned by Matt Lauer Friday. Lauer kept bring up Lindsay’s troubled past, how Dina’s raising her contributed and the choices they both continue to make. At one point she told Lauer “That’s all propaganda, pre-orchestrated. You’re reading things that are not based on fact.” “As a parent, you have to let them go a little bit, when she went out to Los Angeles when she was 19, I had to let her live and fall and fail and survive. Without failure, there’s no success.” She did say that Lindsay is doing “wonderfully” after 14 days in jail.

Today’s College Students Most Like to Like Their Sympathy

Canoeing Today’s College Students more likely to lack empathy U.S. News & World Report Friday, May 28.A three decades, analysis of previous research showing that U.S. college students are not as empathetic as they used to be.
“Many people see the current group of university students, sometimes called” Generation Me “as one of the most self-centered, narcissistic, competitive, confident and individualistic in recent history,” remarked Konrath, who is also affiliated psychiatry department at the University of Rochester.
The analysis showed that compared to the end of the 1970s’ colleagues, today’s students are less likely to make an effort to understand the perspective of their friends or to feel compassion or concern for the less fortunate.
This study comes on the heels of a second last year, shows a steady increase in mental disorders in the college aged people over 70 years. People have become more neurotic over the bar, and a large part of this neurosis is in the range of what is known in psychiatric disorders. Personality disorders makes it difficult to maintain balanced relations with others. They give rise to self-centredness, sensitivity to others, an exploitative consciousness and right. Most mental health professionals know it is almost impossible to treat these conditions, as opposed to depression and anxiety, which is more receptive to intervention. It is not a good situation and we can only wonder where this will all lead.
